About: Bring a sincere desire to actively relax, balance your emotions, and energize yourself through practice. As with any exercise regimen, check with your physician and get his/her permission to do slow movements and deep breathing. Most Qi Gong is done in simple standing and sitting positions.

These classes will relax, balance, and powerfully energize you. Most techniques are non-strenuous. Practicing the techniques will give you a grip on qi circulation, cultivation, and development, while helping you balance your emotions.

What to bring: Loose fitting clothes, layered in case the weather changes, a towel or blanket to sit on, warm tea or room temperature water to drink. Do not drink cold water before, during, or directly after this class.

Techniques Taught:: Qi Permeating Techniques, Healing Sounds and Postures, Inner Smile, Microcosmic and Macrocosmic Orbits using internal awareness (Neigong) and external movements, Mental Fasting, and Relaxation of the Mind, Standing Like a Tree, simple jingong and tao-in for kidney energy/vitality, and more.

These techniques form a powerful foundation of balance, energy, and relaxation for yogis, meditators, and internal martial artists.

The techniques in this class will relax your muscles and mind while simultaneously increasing your strength. A clinically proven way to decrease hypertension, ADD, ADHD, and anxiety, these simple, powerful methods de-crease stress, anxiety, fear, anger, panic, giddiness, and sadness, while increasing well-being and happiness, allowing you to feel, move, balance, and cultivate your body's energy and emotions in a very pragmatic and simple way. Get your doctor's permission before attending.

Considerable personal attention is paid to each participant, gently correcting breathing, posture, attitude, awareness, and movement.
